Do the Paw Calibration when: 1.Airway pressure inaccuracy 2.After replacement of pressure sensors 3.After replacement of Monitor Board 4.After using for a long time AX series anesthesia machine can run on two calibration devices: VT-plus and PF-300 Disp AD Channel Users can check the machine condition by monitoring the sample value and actual value of voltage, flow, and pressure in AD channel. The logs themselves in AD channel are not meaningful to users, but it provide the essential information for debug process AD channel is an important reference for troubleshooting, specially for complex faults. Zero Sensor O2 calibration Flow Calibration Paw Calibration Software Upgrade PW 5188 Why For to start calibration, the equipment read the pressure oxygen, not your percent concentration! When the instrument is used for a long time or there are other environmental influences, the reference point of the pressure sensor will change and the reference point needs to be recalibrated. The zero sensor can be easily completed according to the instructions on the interface 21% Oxygen Calibration 1.Select [O2 Calibration] menu → [21% O2 Calibration] , go to the interface of 21% O2 Calibration. 2.Remove the fuel cell oxygen sensor from breathing circuit, and place it in the air for 2~3 minutes. 3.Click [Timer] button to time for 3 minutes. When timing is over, push the [Start] button, the system starts “21 % O2 Calibration”. 100% Oxygen Calibration 1.Ensure that “21% O2 Calibration” is finished and calibration is successful. 2.Select [O2 Calibration] menu → [100% O2 Calibration] 3.Ensure the patient is disconnected. Remove the breathing tube. Open the inspiration and expiration port to the atmosphere. 4.Turn on oxygen supply, the flow shall be regulated at the minimal rate of 8L/min 6.Select [Timer] button to time for 3 minutes. When timing is over, push the [Start] button, the system starts “100% Oxygen Calibration”. If calibration fails... the board is defective change the main board absence of oxygen sensor Turn O2 reading off, to stop alarms If calibration fails... reached its useful life (1/2y) You solve it by changing the cell the gas concentration is below 100% Calibrate the cell again, with another gas source, if it passes, the previous source is not pure... Upgrade the main control board software of the anesthesia machine: insert the U disk into the USB1 port, restart the anesthesia machine, the machine will automatically enter the upgrade interface. Upgrade VCM software: insert the U disk into the USB1 port, standby-5188--USB option--VCM update. Upgrade the VPM software: insert the U disk into the USB1 port, standby-5188-USB option-VPM update. Electronic Modules Calibration Cleaning And Desinfection Repair and Troubleshooting Breathing Circuit - cleaning classification Breathing Circuit - cleaning classification Breathing Circuit - cleaning classification External cleaning Breathing circuit Flow sensor disinfection Regularly disinfecting the flow sensor ensures accurate respiratory measurements and promotes patient safety. Flow sensor disinfection is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and reliability

Transcript: Frequency Harmonics imaging allows the ultrasound to identify body tissue and reduce artifact in the image. It does this by sending and receiving signals at two different ultrasound frequencies. For example, with harmonics on, a probe would emit a frequency of 2MHz, but it would only “listen” for a 4MHz frequency. This improves image quality because body tissue reflects sound at twice the frequency that was initially sent, which results in a cleaner image that better displays body tissue without extra artifact. BIOS-Serving Humanity Adjusting gray maps on your image has a similar effect on an ultrasound image as changing the dynamic range., but they are different. While Dynamic Range adjusts the overall number of shades of gray, a gray map determines how dark or light you prefer to show each level of white/gray/black based upon the strength of the ultrasound signal. Simply put, dynamic range increases or decreases the number of gray shades displayed, while gray maps adjust the brightness of each shade of gray. Focus Hardware method of displaying the intensity of an echo, stronger the echo brighter the dot trackball (center) 2 set buttons (sideways of trackball) update button (above trackball) calculation and distance button (right side of update) annotation button (left side of update) freeze button (right side of right set button) THI-PHI Color Flow mode: a technique in which an ultrasound waves are continuously being emitted and received by the transducer. Technical Training sonoscape S22 display board knobology board trackball ball panel buttons panel keyboard panel Persistence Features the Ultrasound system transmits the short pulses and receives the signal after a controlled delay and for a specific duration The focal position tells the ultrasound the depth at which you’d like the highest resolution. As you move the focal position up and down, you’ll see a triangle or dot move up or down the left or right side of the image. You’ll see the image resolution improve in the area of the selected focal position. Knobology Speckle Reduction Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI, uScan, XRES, etc) uses an algorithm to identify strong and weak ultrasound signals. By evaluating the image on a pixel-by-pixel basis, it attempts to identify tissue and eliminate “speckle.” Weak signals that seem to be astray are eliminated, while strong signals are enhanced/brightened. It provides a smoother, cleaner image. The image below demonstrates an image with Speckle Reduction enabled. Parameters to Adjust Image Quality snoscapoe s22 THANK YOU Adjusting the frequency allows you to increase resolution at the expense of penetration, or increase penetration at the expense of resolution END powersupply (basement) main board ( cpu board) ultrasound board  Stress Echo  Panoramic imaging in color flow mode  Real Time Panoramic  Elastography Imaging Contrast Imaging 4D imaging Hardware Dynamic Range Knobology Hardware Features Continuous wave: Advance features of s22 Chapters Pulse wave: Brightness mode: Frame averaging, or persistence, are similar functions in which multiple image frames are combined, or “averaged” into a single image. Its effect is similar to that of Speckle Reduction, in which the image appears smoother and noise is reduced in the image. TGC on/off power button (backside) push CPU button (left side) 18.5 inch LED 8-inch touch screen 4 transducer socket (front side) 1 pencil probe socket (front side) keyboard (sliding tray) Knobology Dynamic range is the range of acceptance for echoes of different frequency. Since this function used to adjust the acceptance range of reflecting echoes therefore it allows the user to get the echoes of desired range and enhance the image quality. Greater value of dynamic range will broaden the channel and detail information of the scanning area will be acquired that can create the noise in the image but it is upto user that what he wants and can adjust this range according to his needs. velocity and direction of flow is displayed in the image as a color flow map by encoding the Doppler frequency shift. PDI: Power Doppler imaging uses the returning Doppler signal amplitude only to evaluate blood flow only.  GREY SCALE CURVE (GSC) Motion mode: Knobology Features a series of B-Mode dots is displayed on moving time base, a 2-D image is acquired and a single scan line is placed along the area. M-mode will then show how the structures intersected by that line move toward or away from the probe over time. 9 knobs power audio angle depth B mode CFM mode PW mode CW mode M mode This is a very useful function because echoes reflecting from different depths has different intensities. Echoes from superficial structures are strong and therefore these signals not need to be amplified very much but signals from depth need to be amplified more because these signals are weak. This allows the user to get the clear visualization of structures at different depths.

Now you can make any subject more engaging and memorable
